Avoid Procrastination with the Assignment Calculator

Research papers and projects can seem daunting, so a normal response is to ignore them for as long as possible. However, this may not be the best approach.  Fortunately, the library’s assignment calculator can help with procrastination by breaking your assignment into 10 steps giving you mini deadlines to keep you on schedule. Simply plug in the date you plan to start working on the assignment and the due date.  Each step is not only accompanied with a due date but with tips on how to complete each phase of the project.  Remember to jot down these mini due dates in your planner to stay on target.  Don’t hesitate to contact a librarian, who can help you with steps along the research process, or the Writing Wing, which offers assistance with various stages of the writing process.
